44 Bloom Students Inducted into National Honors Society

Bloom High School recently inducted 44 new members into its National Honors Society. The students were inducted based on classroom work, leadership and service.

Forty-four students from Bloom High School received one of the top honors for high school students on Tuesday, April 11, when they were inducted into the National Honors Society. The 44 students earned the honor by showing outstanding work in the classroom, character, citizenship, leadership and service.

Students inducted to the NHS must possess a 3.0 GPA on the 4.0 scale, which is a B average. They must also demonstrate contributions to the school and community without any compensation through various volunteer work. Also, students must show character through cooperation, honesty, and reliability, according to the Bloom website.
