Bloom Township High School District 206 Superintendent Glen Giannetti will answer your questions next Wednesday.

In our first edition of "The Tough Questions," we'll be sitting down with Bloom Township High School District 206 Superintendent Glen Giannetti to pose your questions to the man who can best answer them.
Here's how it works. I'll be interviewing Glen on Wednesday next week. The only problem is ... I have no questions to ask him!
That's where you come in.
I want you to post any questions you have for Glen in the comments for this article. You can also post questions on Facebook or tweet them @TheHeightsPatch.
After all the questions have been posted, I will pick the top five and have Glen answer them on camera next week.
So, whether you have concerns about the future of District 206 or just want to know who Glen's favorite American Idol contestant is, this is your opportunity to get a straight answer.
There is one catch. We will not be using questions posted by political candidates or campaign managers. This series is geared at informing the public and not pushing any agendas.We'll save that for another day.

My wife recently asked a Bloom HS teacher if they would send their child to Bloom HS. The teacher replied that while there are many excellent teachers at Bloom, due to the gang problems, they wouldn't send their kids there. How are you going to address the gang problem so that students who want to be there to learn feel safe?

1. How do you justify a $200,000+ per year salary when only 23% of your students meet the standard on state tests and you are on Academic Watch Status (meaning a failure to show improvement over at least five years)?
2. As a longtime Chicago Heights/Bloom Township political figure, who are you supporting in the upcoming city election for Mayor - Joe Faso or Dave Gonzalez?

Why is there so much violence at bloom?I have had to pull both of my sons out of that madhouse because there seems to be no order,no protection,and no understanding for the children who come to school to actually learn and not to gangbanged.

Amidst some of the questions on the negatives, first, I would like to ask if Glenn could share what some of the accomplishments have been over the past couple of years at Bloom and Bloom Trail? Second, what has been the parent involvement rate at the school? We all know, it takes a partnership between the teachers, parents and students in order to have the best possible outcome for a student. In what ways can parents form this partnership with the school? Lastly, besides funding, what is the biggest challenge standing in the way of student performance?
