Chicago Heights Crime Map: August 2012 Burglaries, Thefts [Updated]

This interactive map shows where all car and home burglaries, as well as thefts, happened in Chicago Heights Aug. 1-24, 2012.

How to use this map

  1. The house icon denotes a burglary at a home. The car icon indicates theft from a motor vehicle. The "running man" icon indicates a theft not occurring in a home or vehicle. The exclamation point indicates a more severe crime, such as armed robbery.
  2. Hover over an icon to see the location at which an incident occurred. Please note that addresses are not exact, but rather noting the block where something happened (i.e. "1000 block of Division Street").

This information was provided in weekly blotter reports from the Chicago Heights Police Department.

Christopher, would you happen to know if there's a police blotter from the Sheriff for Olympia Gardens? Thanks!
