This Basenji Terrier mix is looking for a loving family to go home with.
Meet Kipling.
SSHS workers rescued him from neglectful owners about five months ago. When they showed up to get him, he was chained outside without food, water or shelter. He's since fattened up a bit, thanks to the love and care from the folks at SSHS.
Even though his previous owners were unkind, Kipling harbors no resentment towards people. In fact, he's extremely friendly to adults, kids and other dogs.
