The woman, who said she was "scared," asked to sign a complaint against a Crete man who confronted her while she was talking on her cell phone during a movie.

On Saturday, April 28, the 58-year-old woman told police she was watching a movie at Marcus Cinema in Chicago Heights while talking on her phone when a 44-year-old Crete man, who was also watching the movie, became upset with her.

The man approached the multi-tasking woman, pointed at her and yelled, "Turn off your damn phone," according to the report. The woman told police the man's actions caused her to become scared, though she watched the rest of the movie before notifying authorities.

The woman initially told police she only wanted the incident documented, so the man was released. Afterward the woman said she wanted to sign a complaint, according to the report. Police advised her of complaint procedures.
