Get Ready For the Pizza Playoffs, Chicago Heights!
A restaurant in Chicago Heights could be named the best in the entire South Suburbs.
Remember last year's pizza-themed Chowdown Showdown? It generated thousands of votes, particularly when Aurelio's in Homewood and Faso's in the Heights were neck-and-neck.
Well, this time the competition is on a much larger scale.
The Patch Pizza Playoffs will be a tournament-style series, in which we pick the best pizza place in several Patch towns and pit them against each other in a battle for the hearts and taste buds of the entire South Suburbs.
That's right. We'll be taking this thing across the whole region, baby!
We're putting a question out, on here and Facebook: What restaurants in Chicago Heights, South Chicago Heights and Olympia Fields should be included in this competition?
The No. 1 rule: It cannot be part of a chain. Sorry, Aurelio's and Nancy's.
So let us know in the comments and on Facebook which restaurants to include. Should it be Patsy's Pizza? Faso's Pizza and Pasta? Nino's?
Are any of these restaurants worthy of the title "Best in the South Suburbs"? It all starts here.
Let us know who to include!

Faso's Pizza is by far the best pizza in the south suburbs. They have been is businesss for 40 plus years and are consistent with their high quality delicious food! All of their sauces and dough are made daily from scratch. Dont forget Mrs. Faso's homemade salad dressing, it is extremely decadent!! Simply the BEST!!!

I will never go to Faso's again if I don't have too! We ordered a gnocchi dinner from there and we received like 10 in a over-watered spaghetti sauce with a small meatball. Also, ordered a large calamari and received like four pieces. All that with a couple small dessert and it cost us over $30. Was not satisfied at all! I actually was not even close to feeling full or satisfied with the meal and had to eat something else.
