Heights Businesswoman Zeldenrust Completes Agricultural Leadership Program

Ruth Zeldenrust’s family has owned and operated Zeldrenrust Farm Market since 1969.

Congratulations to Ruth Zeldenrust of Chicago Heights for completing a recent Illinois agricultural leadership seminar on “Economics and the Marketplace.”

The rigorous three-day seminar packed in 13 separate educational sessions among varying downtown locations, including the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Sun-Times Media reports.

Zeldenrust runs Heights-based produce supplier and nursery Zeldenrust Farm Market with her family—as they have been since 1969. She has personally dedicated 30 years to serving farmers markets, according to the Zeldenrust Farm Market website.

Zeldenrust Farm Market's roadside fresh produce stand is set to open sometime mod-April at their 1001 Glenwood Dyer Rd location.
