UPDATE: Infant Death Appears Accidental
The Cook County Medical Examiner has performed an autopsy on a two-month-old Chicago Heights infant, who died Sunday.

An autopsy has revealed new information about a two-month-old girl that died Sunday after being found unresponsive at her Chicago Heights home.
The cause of Danae Billups' death appears to be suffocation and the death appears to be accidental, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office determined Monday, pending further tests.
Chicago Heights Fire Department paramedics attempted to render aid at the home before transporting Billups to St. James Hospital, according to police. She was pronounced dead on arrival at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights just after noon on Sunday, according to the report.
The child's mother was under investigation for neglect by the state Department of Children and Family Services as of Sunday. A DCFS spokesman said the department has never contacted the family before.

sick sick people in this world. That poor baby. If you dont want to jave children keep your damn legs closed or give the child up for adoption. This makes me absolutely sick.

I swore it said it appears to be accidental and not homicide. Some parents don't realize the dangers of keeping stuffed animals or heavy blankets in cribs and this unfortunately could be the result of it.
