Police Questioning Two in Chicago Heights Stabbing Death

Northwest Indiana Times reports that two possible suspects have been undergoing police questioning since Friday.

 

The Northwest Indiana Times is reporting that Chicago Heights Police are interviewing two suspects for the stabbing death of a man who was found dead early Friday morning at the Thornwood Apartments.

Levar Stepney, 35, was found dead in the apartment building where he lived in the 19400 block of Glenwood Road.

Police responded to a call of a stabbing around 2:39 a.m. Friday, Northwest Indiana Times reported.

The two possible suspects have been undergoing questioning since Friday.

An autopsy was being performed at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office on Saturday afternoon. Results are expected after 3 p.m.
