UPDATE: Marian Catholic's Lilek Gets the Biggest Roar from the Crowd

Marian Catholic baseball standout Brett Lilek outpolled nine others in Patch's weekly MVP balloting. He is now eligible for March Patch Athlete of the Month recognition.

Evergreen Park's Tori Senerchia went 3-for-5 and had five RBIs in the Mustangs' 14-4 softball victory over Chicago Christian.
Ajani Cargle won the parallel bars (9.4), still rings (9.7), pommel horse (9.8) and the all-around (54.40) while leading the Lincoln-Way co-op boys gymnastics team to the team title at the Krupicka Invitational. Lincoln-Way posted a team total of 147.45.
Oak Lawn's Bob Kametas pitched five innings of one-hit ball in the Spartans' 3-0 victory over St. Rita. He struck out six. Earlier, Kametas went 2-for-3, including a double and a triple, and drove in one run in Oak Lawn's 5-2 victory over Morton.
Tinley Park's Alyssa Williams homered and drove in three runs in the Titans' 19-1 softball victory over Rich South.
Theresa Kraiss went 2-for-4, including a double, and drove in two runs in Chicago Christian's 11-3 softball victory over Mount Assisi.
Marian Catholic ace Brett Lilek struck out eight of the nine batters he faced in the Spartans' 14-4 baseball victory over Rich South. He also drove in two runs.
