Vote: Who Has the Best Pizza? (Round 2)
It's time for the second part of our three-part pizza Chowdown Showdown. Vote for the best on the list.
Two weeks ago we asked you to vote for the best pizza in the Chicago Heights and Homewood area.
Amidst the voting, we got several comments suggesting other great pizza places in the area, and because Patch is all about the importance of community, we were all for including five more restaurants.
The winner of this Chowdown Showdown will go head-to-head with Aurelio's for the top honors in the area. We will then do a video interview where the owners of the winning restaurant can promote their awesome food!
Here are your choices:
- Mama and Me in Homewood
- Patsy's Pizza in South Chicago Heights
- Pizza Makers in Country Club Hills
- Rico's Pizza in Homewood
- Sanfratello's in Glenwood
Let's get the conversation started. Voting ends at noon on Thursday, Dec. 1.

Thanks for including Rico's this time. Due to the overwhelming support for Faso's, our family plans to try their pizza. I hope readers do the same with Rico's. They really deserve a "spot at the top".

As a result of the 1st pool, we tried Faso's.
Was disappointed with Faso's -
1. No website
2. Cash Only
Pizza was OK, expensive and not as good as Aurelio's
We have tried all of the vendors in the 2nd poll but none meet Aurelio's
Is it just us or do ALL agree that pizza has become expensive.

'Pizza Makers' in Country Club Hills not only has a great pie but the service is excellent as well. I order from Tony and Mary every week, great people, wide selection from the menu, and great food. Try it out, you wont be disappointed.

Domino's is closed and it is Delanoe's now. Delanoes is by far the best pizza in the homewood area. Use their coupons and its absolutely the best deal also.

You are so right. Best pizza I have had in a long time. Employees are really nice and food is always hot. They have a great beef sandwich . Yes they do have good coupons and if send them your email they also send you deals .
