I don't eat reubens, but its hard to fathom Bergstein's losing this contest.

Why the 5th quarter gets entered into all these eating contests is beyond me. That place sucks.

The candidates are all based on recommendations from Facebook friends.

I think AC has a personal issue. 5th Quarter has THE BEST cooks in the 'burbs. I've never had a bad meal there. Never. And the staff is friendly and attentive.

Plus, the prices there cannot be beat. Last night they had all you can eat pastas (which I've had before--and they are fabulous!). I opted for the Reuben though because of this contest. I must say, it was a delicious Reuben. The Swiss cheese was more flavorful than any Reuben I've had in a long long time. Kudos to Bergsteins too, for their matzoh ball soup and squash soup. That's all I've had there. I cannot comment on their Reuben since I haven't tried it.

I love 5th Quarters food also and I think that if they have enough write-ins for these chow downs, then they should be entered...I too love the service and the prices. I have had their Ruben, its yummy however, I like Lassens better on this chow down...
Ryan you are doing a GREAT job! Thank you!
