Meet Paris. She’s an older, heavier American Bulldog eager for a calm family to go home with. Paris would love to get some attention and a slightly healthier lifestyle and she’d definitely pay the love back with plenty of slobbery kisses. Want to learn more about Paris? Check out her listing on the SSHS website! Please visit the South Suburban Humane Society on the Patch directory
Meet Battlestar. He's an 8-year-old medium domestic shorthair mix.  Meet Galactica.  She's a 13-year-old large domestic shorthair mix.  Both of these cats are up-to-date on all of their shots. Battlestar has been neutered and Galactica has been spayed, so anyone who adopts them both won't have to worry about a new fleet of ships showing up. To learn more about Battlestar and Galactica, visit their listings on the South Suburban Humane Society's (SSHS) website! PLEASE VISIT THE SSHS LISTING IN OUR PATCH PLACES DIRECTORY
Meet Kipling. SSHS workers rescued him from neglectful owners about five months ago. When they showed up to get him, he was chained outside without food, water or shelter. He's since fattened up a bit, thanks to the love and care from the folks at SSHS. Even though his previous owners were unkind, Kipling harbors no resentment towards people. In fact, he's extremely friendly to adults, kids and other dogs. To learn more about Kipling, visit his listing on the South Suburban Humane Society's (SSHS) website! Meet Kaylee. She's a 3-year-old domestic short-hair mix with a long black tail, who serves as a wonderful lap warmer, according to South Suburban Humane Society staff. Kaylee lost her home when her owner became ill and was unable to care for her. Thanks to a friendship with her cage-mate at the shelter, it appears Kaylee gets along well with other cats. Kaylee isn't needy or attention-starved but can be affectionate toward people, according to SSHS staff. Kaylee has been spayed. To learn more about Kaylee, visit her listing on the South Suburban Humane Society's (SSHS) website! PLEASE VISIT …
Meet Boo Boo. Again. We featured Boo Boo last year as a Pet of the Week, but unfortunately, she's still looking for a forever home.  Boo Boo is a 3-year-old American Bulldog mix, who loves being around people and has a ton of energy, according to South Suburban Humane Society staff. She knows how to sit and can learn other commands with the help of a patient owner or a few obedience classes. Boo Boo is also a fan of squeaky toys and doesn't mind the company of other dogs. She has been spayed. To learn more about Boo Boo, visit her listing on the South Suburban Humane Society's (SSHS) website…
