Chocolate Therapy for Women, a series of monthly seminars dedicated to women, is hosting its October seminar on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the Business and Community Education Center at Prairie State College located at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights, IL.

The seminar’s topic for this month will be about health and is titled Be Healthy! Be Well Part II. Expert panelists will be Kathy Cathey (APN at Family Christian Health Center) and Mia Cross (RN at Family Christian Health Center). Attendees will also have the chance to get to know a local non-profit organization, My Joyful Heart. The cost to attend is $20.

Every seminar has a panel of experts, information about a local non-profit organization, raffle gifts and a little chocolate therapy at the end.

Prairie State College (PSC) is a two-year community college offering associate degrees and certificates. Students can start at Prairie State College and transfer to a four year college or university for a bachelor’s degree. There is also the option to pursue a career through one of the many certificate and career programs offered at PSC. Located north of Vollmer Road, The College’s north campus facilities includes the Health/Tech Center and the Fitness Complex, a unique partnership among Prairie State College, the Chicago Heights Park District, and St. James Hospital and Health Centers.
