Drawing for Beginners

For ages 15 & up

Every other Saturday:
February 2, 16, March 2,16
10am-12pm

Want to learn how to draw but not sure where to start? Well, start here! Union Street Gallery is offering a beginning drawing class led by instructor Gail Otterson that will teach basic drawing skills and techniques. Students will learn exercises that will help them learn how to see and capture images from reality.

Necessary supplies for this class will be provided-- drawing paper, #2 and HB pencils, erasers, and rulers--however, students are welcome to bring their own supplies if they wish.

The Union Street Gallery is a nonprofit art gallery showcasing the work of both local and nationally known artists alike. The artwork created by artists of the south suburbs region is available for purchase. The gallery, open since 2006, is free and open to the public, however donations are accepted. Classes and workshops are also offered.
