Heights residents can turn in their firearms for cash at the Chicago Heights Police Department, Saturday, Nov. 17.
Anyone who turns in a firearm will receive $100 per gun, with a limit of $200 paid to any one person, regardless of the number of guns turned in.
In addition to firearms, residents can turn in prescription drug at the police department.
