Can't Get Enough Anime? The Library's Looking for You

The Steger-South Chicago Heights Public Library will host an Anime Film Festival on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. The fest is free to attend and will feature food and drinks for those in attendance.

Dragon Ball Z, Ghost in the Shell, Afro Samurai and other groundbreaking Anime movies and television shows will get their moment in the spotlight on Aug. 1, at the Steger-South Chicago Heights Library. The library will host an Anime Film Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. for teenage attendees.

  • The free event will also offer snacks and drinks for those in attendance.
