Catch a Movie at Veteran's Park

'Oz: The Great and Powerful,' will be shown for free by the Steger-South Chicago Heights Public Library at Veteran's Park, beginning at 7:45 p.m. The cinema event is free to attend.

Grab a cuddle buddy, some blankets and some snacks for Friday's Movie in the Park.

The free event is open to the public and will feature the newest chapter in the ‘Wizard of Oz’ story, ‘Oz, The Great and Powerful.’

The movie will be shown at Veteran’s Park, near the big tank, according to library officials. The flick will hit the silver screen at 7:45 p.m. and last until about 10 p.m.
