Get It While It's Hot: '3 Star' Now Serving Lunch and Dinner

3 Star is now offering lunch and dinner hours, under new co-owners, Jake and Luke Marthaler.

A familiar scent will once again waft over "The Hill."

With the revamp and return of 3 Star, comes the aroma of authentic Italian dishes. The grill at 164 East 22nd Street is up and running as of this week, said owner Jake Marthaler

"There has been 26 different bars here, I'm the last one standing," says Jake Marthaler. Jake and his brother Luke purchased the historical bar/store/restaurant about three months ago.

The bocce courts are also fully functional and open for play.

Lunch hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dinner hours: 6 to 10 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday.*

*The kitchen will be closed Aug. 10–11.

Don't forget!

  • The Steger-South Chicago Heights Library will host Hyde Park on Hudson for its next Summer Movie event, on Friday, Aug. 9. The show will start at 1 p.m. and is free to attend.
