Girl Donates 10th Birthday Presents to Pet Shelter

Instead of throwing a birthday party for her 10th birthday, local resident Allison asked her friends and family to make donations to South Suburban Humane Society. Thanks to her request, the dogs and cats at the shelter are now much better supplied than they were a few days ago. Best yet, Allison "fell in love" with Lance, the cat—and she's planning on adopting him! Great job, Allison!
