Prairie State Grad Wins Award 

Prairie State College graduate Adriana Popovich recently was named the 2011 winner of the Dr. James H. Griffith Community Service Award at .

The award is named after the former trustee, who served on the PSC Board of Trustees for 25 years.  It is intended to recognize a person or group at PSC who has contributed in an extraordinary way to the community.

Irons Oaks Receives Nearly $2,000 in Grant Money

recently received a $1,970 Local Tourism Marketing Grant from the Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau to help develop the center’s corporate outreach program.

St. James Health Invites Car Buffs to Showcase Vehicles

As part of its yearlong centennial celebration, is hosting an Antique and Classic Car Show on Sunday, August 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It will be held in the west parking lot of WellGroup HealthPartners at 333 Dixie Highway in Chicago Heights.
