Chicago Heights Library Open As Warming Center

Regular library services will be put on hold in anticipation of dangerously low temperatures.

The Chicago Heights Public Library will suspend it's usual library services on Monday in anticipation of dangerously cold weather

The building will, however, open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. to serve as a public warming center.

The Bloom Township Center and the Chicago Heights Police Department will also serve as warming centers during the extreme cold.
