Chicago Heights Welcomes New $6M Healthcare Facility

After four years in the making, Aunt Martha's is opening the doors of its new pediatric health and wellness center.

South suburban based youth service and health organization Aunt Martha's recently unveiled its new 11,000 square-foot facility at 500 Dixie Highway.

The nearly $6 million center is designed to provide medical and behavioral health services for underprivileged youths, according to the City of Chicago Heights website. It boasts nine medical exam rooms, five behavioral health offices, a fitness room, a pediatric play area, conference rooms and case management offices.

“Aunt Martha’s has been an incredibly valuable part of our city,” Chicago Heights Mayor David Gonzalez said during a ribbon cutting ceremony. “Seeing them expand to help even more people can only be good for Chicago Heights. I just want to thank them for their commitment.”
