The Feast of St. Luke with Rites for Healling

The Feast of St. Luke with Rites for Healing will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 18th at 7.30.  Each year, this is a time for those at Prince of Peace and friends of the parish to receive the anointing of the sick. 

St. Luke is listed in the bible as “a physician,” and it is traditional that on this day, those seeking healing come for prayers and the laying-on-of-hands.  All are welcome to this celebration, including friends, relatives, and others who are not members of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
