Heights Student Wins 'Mr. Grey' Title in College Pageant

A piano solo accompanied by an interpretive dance helped land Chicago Heights' Malcolm Lee the title of Mr. Grey.

Chicago Heights resident Malcolm Lee recently won an impressive, albeit unusual award from St. Xavier University.

Lee was named Mr. Grey in the 2013 Mr. Grey and Ms. Scarlet Pageant, according to the Sun-Times Media. The decision was based on talent, speaking skills, career ambitions, and personal interests.  For the talent portion, Lee played a piano solo accompanied by an interpretive.

Lee will now be invited back to host next year's pageant along with the Ms. Scarlet winner. He was also awarded $250 in text book vouchers for his accomplishment.
