Last Chance for Fee Forgiveness, Food Drive at the Library

The Chicago Heights Public Library is honoring National Library Week, April 15–19. In honor of the event, the library will host a canned food drive to benefit the community. Anyone bringing in a canned item will receive $1 off any late fees.

It's National Library Week and the Chicago Heights Public Library is looking to celebrate, and help out a good cause, too. This week, April 15–19, the library will host a canned food drive to help the community.

Any resident who donates to the food drive will recieve $1 deducted from any overdue fees. The dollar off does not apply to book replacement or other fines, however.

For more information about National Library Week, or the food drive, residents can call the library at (708) 754-0323.
