Whiz Kid’s Accomplishment: Volleyball player who was part of the winning team of second place in state this past season.
Whiz Kid’s Key to Awesomeness: Aly has been in Chicago Heights less than a year and according to her principal, she was chosen as a Patch Whiz Kid for her all-around performance both inside and outside Lincoln School. This young woman is in honors math at Bloom High school. She also teaches young children Sunday school at Payne Chapel AME Church. Long study hours and continued practice is her keys to her success. She tells Patch she works hard at everything she does.

Aly says she is good at volleyball and math is her favorite subject in school. Aly is planning to go to college and study to be a pediatric nurse. A motto Aly lives by; work hard, study and practice then you’ll do well.
