LOST DOG ALERT: Have you Seen Wilson?

A newly adopted dog slipped away from its owner on Saturday afternoon.

The folks are South Suburban Humane Society (SSHS) could use your help in locating Wilson, the lost dog.

The pup was adopted Saturday afternoon during the SSHS's Empty the Shelter event. He was on his way home with his new owner when he slipped out of his hands. 

Wilson was last seen running south from the Heather Hills neighborhood in Flossmoor—across Volmer Road and into Chicago Heights.

"His adopters are heartbroken and are still out searching," reads a SSHS Facebook post.
