Remarkable Revamps: Taking the Next Step

Of all the stories we put out on Chicago Heights Patch, I think the Remarkable Residents column is the most loved.

The series, in which we scour the Heights and Olympia Fields for people who have done something amazing in their lives, is always getting positive feedback from the our readers.

Well, it's time to add something new to the mix.

Starting Friday we'll be digging deeper into our profiles, adding videos and audio slideshows to these stories whenever possible.

Why would we do such a thing? Because stories with one lonely photo hovering next them are for the old-school newspapers. And, you know what? We're not a newspaper.

As a multimedia source of information, it's time we got a little more... well, multimedia.

I'm incredibly eager to reveal the new style of our Remarkable Residents series, so log on tomorrow for our first truly multimedia profile of an awesome Heights resident.
