Why Go: Swim, bike and run at the H-F Park District second annual Indoor Triathlon at the Racquet & Fitness Club. Club membership is not required.

Pricing: Advanced entry fee is $30 for residents, $35 for non-residents.

Where/When: 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 , 330 W Highland Dr, Chicago Heights

Why Go:  The St. Paul Lutheran School seventh and eighth grades are sponsoring a spaghetti dinner in the school gym to help raise money for their class trip.

Pricing: Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for children 12 and under, children under 3 are free. Price includes salad, spaghetti, bread, drinks and dessert.

DENNIS DEYOUNG: THE MUSIC OF STYX 

Where/When: The Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Why Go: A rare and intimate acoustic evening of all your favorite Styx classics, showcasing Dennis DeYoung on grand piano,  August Zadra and Jimmy Leahey on acoustic guitars/vocals and Craig Carter on bass/vocals.

Pricing: Tickets range from $56 to $46.

ORLAND COMEDY IMPROV

Where/When: Old Village Hall, 14413 Beacon Ave., Orland Park, at 8 p.m. Friday.

Why Go: An improvisational comedy show with a mature theme for 16 and older.

Pricing: $6

MIGHTY MAC MARDI GRAS

Where/When: 115 Bourbon Street, 3359 W. 115th St., Merrionette Park, starting at 7 p.m. Friday.

Why Go: This 21 and older event will feature music, dancing, door prizes and games of chance. Proceeds will benefit McAuley’s student clubs, organizations and sports programs.

Pricing: $35 in advance, $40 at door, which includes five-hour open bar (domestic bottles, hard liquors, wine and soft drinks) and two-hour dinner buffet.
