Snowy Weather to Hit Chicagoland

Forecasters are predicting up to seven inches of snow, which was expected to start falling around midnight.

It's been a relatively mild winter, but apparently, Mother Nature is giving a clue that winter isn't over yet.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory Thursday evening for a storm that could dump 7 inches or more of snow on the Chicago area overnight, according to WGN.

The Weather Channel says people should "look for a stripe of snow to lay down from the Dakotas into Iowa, northern Illinois, far northern Indiana and lower Michigan."
