South Suburban Humane Society Wins Grant from Purina
The shelter will receive a check from Purina—now find out what they'll do with it.
South Suburban Humane Society has been chosen as a winner in Purina's 50 Shelters in 50 States contest.
Purina will hand over a check for $2,000—along with $500 in cat supplies.
In celebration, the shelter has decided to waive all cat adoption fees during its upcoming 36-hour adopt-athon July 19–20.
"Thank you so much, Purina!" wrote staff on the shelter's Facebook page. "Let's find every cat and kitten a home!"
