Weekly Recap: Smile Shoots and Ballot Boots

A look back at Chicago Heights Patch stories, Feb. 6-12.

With the blizzard long gone, it has been back to business for the Heights and Olympia Fields.

The South Chicago Heights village made important decisions this week, with Mayor David Owen addressing the importance of investing in the city's future through quiet purchases. The City also decided it will begin sharing ambulances with their neighbors in Park Forest.

The blotters were busy as well, with incidents involving SOS pads and bloody crowbars turning up in the pages of Chicago Heights and Olympia Fields police reports.
