Free Art Class for Kids

Art is an important part of a child's education and too often it is cut or made inaccessible. That is why  Union Street Gallery and Delta Sigma Pheta are offering a free six-week art class for children ages 8-12.  Children will learn lessons and do projects that incorporate several different types of media including Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media Collage and 3-Dimensional/Sculpture. At the end of the class, student projects will be exhibited at Union Street Gallery and students will receive a certificate of completion.
 
A reception for students and their families, hosted by Delta Sigma Pheta,  will be held at Union Street Gallery April 9  to honor the students' achievements.

Register by Feb. 25. There is a minimum of five students and a maximum of 15.
