The Drama Group Presents: Biloxi Blues

The Drama Group is proud to present the Neil Simon autobiographical comedy -Biloxi Blues, directed by Joe Hoyt.

Neil Simon has delighted American theatergoers with some of the most brilliant comedies of the last 50 years, and Biloxi Blues stands as one of his best.  This semi-autobiographical comedy centers around 20 year-old Eugene Morris Jerome from Brooklyn, who is drafted into the US Army during World War II and is sent to Biloxi, Mississippi for his basic training.  Eugene learns to cope with fellow soldiers from all walks of life, falls in love and loses his virginity under less than ideal circumstances, all while having to navigate around the eccentricities of his drill sergeant.

Winner of the 1985 TONY Award for best play, Biloxi Blues is a comedy about life in the military, filled with both laughter and nostalgia and will be a great way to kick off the summer.
