A Look Back at the Boys' Basketball Return to Bloom Trail
Highlights of the White-Out game; pictures of half-time honorees; more games on tap for next year
Friday Jan. 6, the Bloom Township boys' sophomore and varsity basketball teams hosted Crete-Monee for a home game at Bloom Trail High School for the first time since 1995.
It was one of the best attended home games in recent years. Both teams came away with a victory, with the varsity team winning by a score of 43-38.
The game was such a great success that the Superintendent of 206, Dr. Lenell Navarre, said that he is looking at the possibility of having one or two boys' basketball games at Trail next year. He is also looking at the possibility of having Bloom host one or two girls' basketball home games.

One of the highlights of the game was the half-time show, where the school hosted many Bloom and Bloom Trail graduates who played for some of the most successful teams in the '80s and '90s.
