Some Background on the Principal's Honors Brunch at Bloom

Bloom HS honors students for excellent academics.

The Principal's Honors Brunch at was started in 1985 as a way of recognizing consistent academic achievement by Bloom students.

Mr. Ronald Patton, a former Bloom principal, was aware that students involved in athletics and activities were regularly honored for their accomplishments in these areas, while students who were excelling in academics were often not afforded the same accolades.

"The Principal's Honors Brunch" is scheduled each year to give deserved recognition to good academic students. To be invited a student must achieve Honor Roll status for the first and second terms of the school year.

Along with Principal Israel, Susan Woodyatt, Assistant Principal, gave special recognition to the students who qualified for this honor. Dr. Lenell Navarre, Superintendent, lauded the honorees with a congratulatory speech.
