Hiring Heroes: Veterans Job Fair in Orland Park Thursday
Find out how to register for the event, where veterans and other military job seekers can meet employers and get tips on finding work.
A job fair and employment workshop dedicated to U.S. Armed Forces veterans will be held Thursday at the Orland Park Civic Center.
The fair and workshop are part of Hiring Our Heroes, a $45 million effort by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to put veterans back into the work force, and has hosted over 500 fairs across the country.

Starting at 9 a.m., veterans can attend a clinic where they can learn tips for resume writing, interviewing, getting the most out of hiring fairs and translating military skills to the work force. The hiring fair will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m.
