Payless Says Goodbye to Chicago Heights This Month

The store will be closed to move to Matteson by the end of January.

If you travel on Lincoln Highway through the Heights regularly, you may have notived the big "store closing" signs outside .

Payless will be closing either at the end of January or when they run out of shoes. With prices dropping 50 to 70 percent, the latter may come first.

For Heights Payless shoppers the nearest shoe source will be the 154 Town Center Road location in Matteson.

The Heights Payless is currently giving out 40 percent off receipts to customers willing to shop the Matteson store.
