I would like to take a moment to draw attention to one of the most awesome and overlooked qualities of Patch.

We allow employers to post job opportunities for free!

Why should any business actively helping to stimulate the economy have to lose even a little bit of money doing it? They shouldn't. So we are encouraging local businesses to add their open positions to our classifieds section.

The process is incredibly easy:

• Just click on the "Marketplace" tab at the top of the page.
• The "Jobs" section is right at the top. Click on "Post a Job."
• The next screen will be an easy form asking you to complete just three required fields: title, description and type of position.
• You can also pick an area of specialization, such as health care, non-profit or legal.
• There are additional fields in which you can provide salary information, experience requirements and other info for applicants.

Boom. Done. It's that easy.
