What Should Go Here? The Former Blockbuster Video on Lincoln Highway

Still donning the recognizable blue line that stood out about the video rental chain, this now-vacant building is near one of the busiest intersections in the area.

Is it a sign of the times that many Blockbuster rental stores have closed their doors permanently?

Maybe.

The excitement of renting a movie has perhaps been diminished by the quick-and-easy kiosks and rent-by-mail services that ease our access to entertainment.

Regardless of the reasoning, what was once a popular store in a prime location is now a vacant property.

The old Blockbuster near the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Western Avenue has been closed for a while, but with more than 9,000 square feet of space and a direct entrance from Route 30, this seems like prime real estate for an incoming business.
