The Crisis Center for South Suburbia needs donations to help make the holidays a bit brighter for its residents. Although this time of year is often special and magical, for women and children who are escaping abuse, it can be filled with homelessness, loneliness, and fear.
At CCSS, we are inspired to create hope and comfort for the families we serve by surrounding them with support and affording them the joy of being able to share gifts with one another in the spirit of the season. But we need your help! Please consider donating gifts for our clients. Our holiday wish list is available online at www.crisisctr.org/how-to-help/holiday-drive or by contacting Kerri at (708) 429-7255, ext. 126.
The Tinley Park Public Library, located at 7851 Timber Drive, has agreed to serve as a drop-off site for donations and will accept them through December 15. Donations can be dropped off, Monday – Friday, 9 am to 9 pm, Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, 12 pm to 5 pm.
The Crisis Center for South Suburbia’s mission is to provide emergency shelter and other essential services for individuals and families victimized by domestic violence and address the societal issues that contribute to domestic violence.
