Olympia Fields Homeowner R. Kelly Has Emergency Surgery
The singer had been complaining of throat pain before being rushed into surgery.
Olympia Fields resident and entertainer R. Kelly is in the hospital after having emergency throat surgery.
Doctor drained an abscess on one of the singer's tonsils Tuesday, according to his publicist Allan Mayer. Kelly will be "laid up indefinitely" at Chicago's Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Kelly was recently complaining of throat pain and was rushed to the hospital after an examination, according to Mayer.
