The National Weather Service in Chicago has included snow showers as part of its hazardous weather outlook, though it does not expect much accumulation.
"Light accumulating snow" is expected to start Wednesday with more snow showers coming after midnight. The accumulation is expected to start Wednesday afternoon.
With tempuratures dropping, anyone who must venture outdoors during the night is advised to wear a hat and gloves.
