The Drama Group Hosts "An Evening for Josie"

Proceeds from this Saturday's event will go to help 19-year-old Josie Nordman's family pay for her necessary double-lung transplant.

Josie Nordman is 19 years old. A life-long battle with Cystic Fibrosis has reduced her lung capacity to 15 percent. Her only hope for survival is a double-lung transplant.

While she's at the top of the donor list, the procedure isn't cheap. Insurance aside, the Josie's family is facing upwards of $75,000 for the increasingly necessary surgery.

This Saturday, May 11, Chicago Heights Theater Company The Drama Group is hosting An Evening for Josie—a benefit for the H-F High School grad, currently pursuing a Theater major at Northwestern University.
