Tingle, a pit-bull mix, was in a bad situation when he came to the South Suburban Humane Society. He had sores, he was emaciated, and he was dirty.
Now, Tingle, two years old, has put on weight and is getting rid of his sores. He is a playful dog, but not so aggressive that he will knock a child down to the ground. He is great with other energetic dogs.
“We’re actually kind of surprised that he’s still here since he did really good on his behavior scores,” said Lauren Hamlin, a South Suburban Humane Society adoption counselor.
