AARP Smart Driver Course is designed to help drivers live more independently as they age and remain safe on today's roads. Although the course is geared toward drivers 50+, it can be taken by licensed drivers of all ages and there are no tests. The course provides practical techniques for adjusting to aging changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. During the course, participants learn about the current rules of the road and how to operate their vehicles more safely in an increasingly challenging driving environment.
Classes are on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 15th & 16th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The course is $15.00 for AARP members and $20.00 for non-members.
