The Governors State University Center for Performing Arts in conjunction with Emerald City Theatre present "Knuffle Bunny" as part of our Arts In Education / Family Fun Series for two performances on January 11, 2013.

Emmy Award winner Mo Willems joins Grammy Award–winning composer Michael Silversher to lovingly celebrate the heart and heartache that can only come from a family visit to the local Laundromat.

When this trip to the Laundromat threatens to separate Trixie from her beloved bunny, a girl needs a hero to help - Dad.

Can Trixie's parents break the code in time to rescue Knuffle Bunny?

This Caldecott Honor–winning picture book brings a small heroine with a big problem to the stage.

"Knuffle Bunny" is all about trusting family, best friends, baby steps, and memories that last a lifetime.

The Arts In Education / Family Fun Series is an ideal setting for school field trips, family outings, birthday parties, and other events.
