GRAMMY Winner Returns to Appear at Local Venues - 2 Shows & Workshop

2 Special Days of Musical Adventures in Homewood

Celebrating her recent #1 album on the New Age Radio Charts worldwide (3/2014) after debuting at #2 a month earlier, Grammy winning vocalist Darlene Koldenhoven returns to her Southside Chicago roots with two days of musical adventures to uplift our hearts, inspire our minds, and fill us with joy at the Grape & Grain Co. and Insight Awareness.

Starting on Wednesday, July 9 at Insight Awareness, Grammy-winner Darlene Koldenhoven presents an informative, entertaining and rejuvenating adventure with sound, utilizing the many newly researched and proven benefits of music and sound-making for the brain, body and all around health. Darlene will demonstrate how you can open your voice and strengthen your ear-voice-body connection to balance your energy, release stress and emotional blockages, improve circulation, blood pressure, oxygen flow, mental focus, frequency range tuning and more. Discover how the ear is connected to all areas of the body and why deep listening and the vibrations of singing are vital to your brain, your mental, physical and even your spiritual health. Exploring a variety of “wellness with sound” methods, you will experience deep breathing, rhythmic entrainment, resonance balancing, sensory connecting, sonic strengthening, a profound healing relaxation, a 2’ quartz tuning fork, and much more. Participants will emerge with a freer, more confidant voice, a tuned “ear,” and restored, enriched, balanced, life energy, in addition to being entertained by her fascinating stories, learning a lot of new and useful information and experiencing something new and wonderful in life. No singing experience necessary.
