Union Street Beat: Open Mic Night

Union Street Beat: Open Mic Night  Friday March 21 | 6:30-9pm

Come to perform or come to listen, either way come and enjoy the art, music, and atmosphere. As always, board member and local celebrity Wendell Mosby will MC the night. This event is free and open to everyone, but a minimum $5 donation is appreciated. Refreshments will be served.

Local poet Esteban Colon will headline the night performing poems from his book "Things I Learned the Hard Way" available for sale in the Union Street Gallery gift shop.

Open mic includes but is not limited to: poetry, prose, spoken word, rap, short stories, singing and acoustic performances.

Performers must bring their own instruments and cables (bring everything up to the board). USG provides a sound system with 2 speakers, sound board, a wireless mic and mic stand. Gallery also has ipod speakers and CD player.
